Fragments is a reflection on friendship, resilience, and the beauty of imperfections.
In a world suspended between the real and the symbolic, a bird marked by loss meets a wolf who changes the course of its journey. Fragment by fragment, a new way of being is built, where flaws cease to be wounds and become paths instead. Other creatures, also imperfect, weave together a subtle community of support and connection, and the bird finds itself again in its pieces, ready to soar — light, free, and accompanied.

This project was developed as part of the Master's in Illustration, Publishing, and Printing at FBAUP.
The illustrations were created manually, using drypoint etching and tetrapak, incorporating adhesive tapes and milk cartons as metaphors for reconstruction — a process as imperfect as we are.
