Hello! I'm Cátia Vide, a Portuguese illustrator born in 1990 in Oporto. I hold a degree in Graphic Design from the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave and a postgraduate degree in Illustration from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto, where I am currently pursuing a master's in Illustration, Edition, and Print (MIEI).
I've been dedicated to illustration, graphic design, illustration training, collective exhibitions, among other pursuits, and have collaborated with magazines, publishers, companies, among others. I've published eight picture books with texts by writers such as Ana Paula Oliveira and Rosa Montez, some of which have been released in Spain, Poland, USA and Italy.
My work has been recognized in national and international awards, including the 3x3 Contemporary Illustration Magazine, Communication Arts Illustration, and BIG Biennial of Illustration of Guimarães. If you would like to work with me or just say hello, please do get in touch!
